The Federal Government of Pakistan Going to announce Federal Budget on 09th June 2023. 20% Salary Increase Expected in Federal Budget 2023-24. Pensions will also be increased 15%.
Salary increase in budget 2023, Some well-informed Sources also claim that Government will announce 30% Salary Increase for Federal Government Employees, and Pensions will may get up to 15 percent Increment. Due to the Current Inflation situation, Employees are Demanding 50 percent Increment in Salaries.
All Eyes are on Upcoming Federal Budget 2023-24, The Federal Budget 2023-24 is expected to be around 16,600 Billion or 16.6 Trillion which is 57.8 percent higher than the Fiscal Year 2022-23 Budget.
As per the current Inflation Rate 40 percent, the 30 percent Increment may not be sufficient for Federal Government Employees. As per sources, Federal Government has no plans to Give big Tax Relief in the Upcoming Budget 2023-24. As per the Directions of the IMF, the Federal government already imposed Tax of Rs. 180 Billion in February 2023.
