Islamabad: The Federal Government has extends the facility of e-passport for the whole Pakistan. Earlier this facility was introduced only for Islamabad.
The Directorate General of Immigration and Passport has also released the fee schedule for e-passport.
Below are the latest fee details:
The fee for a 36-page passport for 5 years will be Rs 9,000, while the fee for an Urgent e-passport will be Rs 15,000.
The Regular fee for 72 pages passport with 5 years validity has been fixed at Rs16,500 and for urgent it will be Rs27,000 rupees.
The regular fee for 36 pages passport with 10 years validity has been fixed at Rs13,500 and for urgent processing the department will charge Rs22,500.
Furthermore, The normal fee for a 72-page passport for ten years validity will be Rs 24,750, while the fee for an urgent processing will be Rs 40,500.
According the schedule, normal passport fees will remain as before. The fees have been implemented from August 16, 2023.
