PMA Long Course 156 is divided into four terms of six months each. During the first term, cadets undergo physical training and learn the basics of military discipline and leadership. PMA Long Course 156 Eligibility Criteria and Physical Standards:

• Nationality: Citizens of Pakistan including Azad Kashmir, and Gilgit Baltistan, may Apply for PMA Long Course.
• Height: Minimum Height 5′ 4″ (Five feet Four Inches)
• Genders: Only Males are Eligible to apply.
• Marks: Minimum 55% marks in FA/FSC. Candidates who secured 60% marks or above in Graduation / Masters with 50% marks in FA / FSc are Eligible to apply for Pthe MA Long Course at Pakistan Military Academy.
• Serving Army Soldiers can apply if they have secured 50% Marks in FA / FSc 
• Must be Medically fit.

Selection Procedure of PMA Long Course:

The Selection Procedure to Join Pakistan Army as an Officer through Pakistan Military Academy Long Course 156 contains different phases, details are mentioned below:

1. Advertisement: The First Step of the PMA Long Course is an official advertisement which is published by the Pakistan Army. The advertisement for Pakistan Military Long Course 2025 was published in Newspapers.

2. Online Registration: The second step of PMA Long Course is online registration. Eligible candidates may apply or register online after the publication of the official advertisement before the due date.

3. Induction / Written Test: After online registration, the Pakistan Military Academy will call the shortlist of eligible candidates for Written Test or verbal tests. Candidates will be evaluated on the basis of Written Tests or Verbal Tests.
