The first ever educational institution established in the country under the auspicious administration of Army was Azam Garrison High School. The School was established in 1950 with the motive to cater quality education for both the genders. The School started as co-education in the beginning but with the passage of time and increase in student’s strength, dire need for another institution was felt with the result of emergence of Garrison Boys High School in 1963.
